Gentle Osteopathic Care for Your Baby

Every baby is different, and their needs can change quickly in the first months of life. I provide gentle, individualized osteopathic assessment and treatment for infants, taking into account their birth history, movement, preferences and the concerns you have as a parent.Infant osteopathy may be helpful for babies experiencing:Head-turning preferences or positional asymmetry
Tension or stiffness through the neck, body or jaw
Difficulty settling or frequent fussiness
Feeding difficulties or challenges with comfortable positioning
A preference for feeding on one side
Challenges with tummy time or movement
General discomfort or difficulty finding comfortable positions
Babies who seem particularly tense, unsettled or uncomfortable following birth
Treatment is always adapted to your baby's age, development and individual needs, using gentle hands-on techniques and following your baby's cues throughout the visit.

Care That Comes to You

The early days with a new baby are a special, protected time. I believe in honouring that early mother-baby bubble rather than asking families to leave it before they're ready. An in-home visit means your baby can receive care without packing up the diaper bag, interrupting their routine, or getting everyone out the door. You can stay in your own space, surrounded by the things that make you and your baby comfortable.In-home appointments can also be especially helpful in those very early days and weeks. If your baby is freshly born and you're still resting in bed, recovering from birth, establishing feeding, or simply finding your rhythm together, you don't need to wait until you're ready to leave the house. I can come to you.The visit can unfold around your baby and your recovery, with time for feeding, cuddling, diaper changes, rest and whatever else you need in the moment.

About Jesslyn

My clinical work has always been closely connected to the perinatal world. As a birth and postpartum doula, I had the privilege of supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and those first tender weeks with a new baby. That experience sparked a lasting passion for the perinatal period and for understanding the many physical changes that occur during pregnancy, birth, feeding, and early infancy.I went on to become a Registered Massage Therapist, developing a particular interest in perinatal and infant massage, and later became a Manual Osteopathic Therapist. Along the way, I have continued to build my knowledge of infant anatomy, development, birth-related physical considerations, and infant feeding. My experience supporting families has given me a unique perspective on the connection between birth, feeding, movement and comfort. I understand that concerns with an infant rarely exist in isolation; they happen within the context of a recovering parent, a new family dynamic, and the enormous transition of those first months together.Today, my practice focuses on gentle osteopathic care for babies and the people who care for them. I love working with families during this early chapter and creating a calm, supportive environment where there is time to listen, observe, ask questions and understand what your baby needs.Whether I'm meeting a family in my clinic or coming to their home, my goal is the same: to provide thoughtful, individualized care that respects both the baby and the family around them.
